New president of the FSL
Steve Kaiser has taken over from Georges Kieffer as the new President of the Luxembourg Squash Federation. Steve came to Luxembourg in 1979 from England where he had played club squash and quickly became involved in the game here. He played more than 20 times for the national team and, although age has taken its toll, he can still be seen occasionally on court at Top Squash. Steve was involved in squash administration in Luxembourg from the time he arrived and helped to form the federation some 30 years ago, as well as playing a leading role in setting up the inter-club leagues and a refereeing scheme. Steve plans to talk to all those involved in running the sport at national and club level over the next few weeks in order to discuss the future of the sport in Luxembourg and to understand the ambitions of those most closely associated with the day to day organization of squash in Luxembourg. |
